Below are some of the many locations I offer for sessions. I am always on the hunt for new locations, and not all of my recommendations may be listed. If there is a location you are interested in that is not listed below, feel free to contact me so we can try to work something out!

Please keep in mind that some locations may require longer travel time or permits, which will be added on to your session fee.

Features

Cranbrook House & Gardens is a stunning location for sessions with its beautiful gardens, ponds, historic architecture, and grounds. The combination of natural beauty and architectural elegance offers a diverse range of possibilities for capturing memorable moments.

Permits & Fees

To have a photography session at Cranbrook House & Gardens, please note that permits are required. The cost of the permits is $300 for sessions with 1-4 people being photographed and $500 for sessions with 5-12 people being photographed. It's important to keep in mind that the maximum number of people allowed in the session should not exceed 12 (excluding the photographer).

Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the grounds.

Seasons

To make the most of your session at Cranbrook House & Gardens, it is recommended to schedule your session during the spring, summer, or fall seasons. During this time, the gardens and grounds will be in full bloom, showcasing vibrant colors and lush foliage. The pleasant weather conditions will provide a comfortable environment for your session, allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Wolcott Mill does not require permits. Entry to the park is $10.

Although Canterbury Village is technically a shopping mall, don't be discouraged! This location boasts a plethora of adorable and unique buildings that provide a charming backdrop for photos. From its quaint shops to its picturesque courtyards and charming architecture, Canterbury Village offers a visually appealing and photogenic setting that is worth exploring for stunning pictures.

Permits & Fees

There are no permits required for this location. There is a travel fee of $35.

Regardless of the season, Canterbury Village is a wonderful location for photography. However, it's important to note that it may be busier, particularly around the holidays when people flock to the village for festive events and shopping. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, it's advisable to plan your visit during non-peak times.

This location does require permits. Permits are $35 for individual portraits, $50 for couples, and $100 for families & groups (up to 16 people). There is an additional travel fee of $50.

One particular spot that stands out is graffiti alley, which offers a vibrant and artistic backdrop that can add a unique touch to your pictures. With its colorful and dynamic graffiti art, it's an excellent choice for capturing an urban vibe in your photographs.

There are no permits required for this location. There may be parking fees since most of the parking is street parking or parking garages. There is a $50 travel fee.

Since I am a resident of SCS, there are no permits or fees.

Pets

Pets are allowed, but there is a possibility they may not be allowed on the pier.

For the optimal experience, it is recommended to schedule your session during the spring and summer seasons. During this time, the park showcases its lush greenery and pleasant weather, providing an ideal backdrop for photography sessions. While winter offers the charm of holiday lights, it's worth noting that the park tends to be busier due to events taking place during that season.

These natural light studios are the perfect setting for a variety of sessions. From boudoir and portraits, to children, family, and even holiday photos, the studios cater to your needs. Your convenience is prioritized with the inclusion of a dressing room, bathroom, and vanity. However, please note that these sessions are dependent on studio availability.

Permits & Fees

There is an additional fee for studio sessions: - 30-Minute to 60-Minute Session: $85.00 - 90-Minute to 2-Hour Session: $170.00 Other fees may apply if requesting backdrops, unincluded props, etc.

Pets

Pets are welcome in the studio, but for safety and convenience, they must be either kept on a leash or securely held by their owner. This policy ensures a controlled environment and allows for a smooth photography session.

Dodge Park is a huge, 51.2 acre park perfect for nature lovers - featuring both paved and natural trails, with some running parallel to the Clinton River.

There are no permits or fees for this location.

Pets are allowed.

Seasons

Sessions at Dodge Park are best held in the Spring, Summer, and early Fall. Due to the abundance of trees, sessions in the Winter can be a bit dull, gray, and honestly, a bit barren and dead due to the lack of foliage, which is not necessarily a picture-perfect backdrop.
